Golden Hour Magic in Toronto: A Dog Park Photoshoot with Carly and Joey.

There’s nothing quite like the golden glow of sunrise or sunset to bathe a photoshoot in pure magic. This past week, I had the pleasure of experiencing that magic firsthand with Carly and her adorable Havanese pup, Joey.

Carly chose Kew Gardens Dog Park at The Beaches in Toronto for our session, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location. With its off-leash freedom, access to the water, and stunning scenery, the park offered endless possibilities for capturing the essence of Carly and Joey’s special bond.

As luck would have it, the weather was an absolute dream. Throughout the entire photoshoot, we were treated to that soft, golden hour light that photographers live for. And let’s talk about Joey! This little Havanese heartthrob was a ball of pure energy. He spent the session joyously hopping from rock to rock, exploring every corner of the park, and even taking a refreshing dip in the water – a true beach bum at heart!

Carly, meanwhile, radiated a genuine joy. It was clear to see how much she cherished spending time with her furry friend. Throughout the session, she laughed effortlessly and her smile lit up every frame. The love and connection between them shone bright.

Photographing Carly and Joey was an absolute pleasure. From the stunning location to the perfect lighting and the undeniable bond between them, all the elements came together to create a truly special set of photos.
